Is it possible for a dog to be your soulmate? That’s how I feel about my sweet girl. She’s been battling for more than a year already. It feels impossible to smile lately, except when it’s with her.

Recent events gave me the push I needed to get my first tattoo, something I’ve wanted to do for years. It didn’t hurt as much as I expected. It was a distraction from pain with a different type of pain, but it was too temporary.
