Sailor Moon Funko Pop Figures at New York Toy Fair 2016
We’ve all heard the rumours circulating for months about Sailor Moon Funko Pop! figures, but they’re finally here!!! They are real and official! Funko themselves posted sneak peeks of their New York Toy Fair 2016 booth and displayed were Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus and Tuxedo Mask. A cute little Luna comes with Sailor Moon and Artemis with Venus.
If the numbers go in sequence, who is #90? (assuming Mercury is #91, Mars #92, so on..) Perhaps it will be the long rumoured “Rini” Sailor Chibimoon?! These are scheduled for release in April 2016 so we will find out soon enough! Stay tuned for more info!
UPDATE: Turns out #90 is a Hot Topic Exclusive! It’s Sailor Moon with Moon Stick and Luna!! Poor little Luna with the bandaids on her head..aww!! Picture at the bottom.
UPDATE #2: Funko has announced that these have been delayed to a July 2016 release. They’ve also released some official pictures!

Wait…I’m confused. I read that they’re scheduled to release in July but I have seen them in Hot Topic and other stores listed above. What’s happening >.<

yes Hottopic is geting these in and there flying off the walls. i got the hottopic exclusive, tuxedo mask and mercury. i’ve seen sailor venus also but didn’t get her. the only ones i have not seen are jupiter and mars but i expect hot topic to get these in to.

My hot topic got a shipment of Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus, and Tuxedo Mask yesterday! Of course I had to go to the store and pick them up right away! My friend had them put them on hold for me so I could get them after work.

Oh my goodness! I’ve been eagerly waiting for these figures to be released! I’ve only started collecting these figures; they’re so cute! I’m definitely gunna have to buy the Hot Topic Exclusive Sailor Moon though, I just hope that she wont be too expensive!

If you’re in the US, you can pre-order in Game Stop (it might be exclusive to Game Stop). 🙂 The last time I checked, you can pre-order all of them in the set EXCEPT Chibimoon (yes she’s in the set), Tuxedo mask, and Sailormoon.

These are so funny! I do not really like funkos, but I think they chose a great addition with Sailor Moon. And they gave them poses different from the transformation ones, that is neat!

Depending which store. Barnes & Noble sell them for 8.95, hot topic 12.50, Walmart online usually have them between 8-11 & FYE at 11.95. I’m a funko fan so i know some prices haha.

🙂 don’t get ripped off! Different stores have different prices & some are lower. Check ebay as well. Let’s hope barnes & noble or walmart will sell them, they are cheapest there! fye has a deal where you buy 2 & get 1 for 75% off, I got 3 the other day & spent $28. Just to give everyone an idea on how much you’d spend on these little cuties 😀
