Sailor Moon Crystal Aeon Campaign: Notebook & Clearfile
Getting us ready for Sailor Moon Crystal’s Season 3 is a limited time campaign at Aeon. There are two campaign periods with different gifts. The first round starts January 26 with A5 size notebooks as the gift. The second round starts February 2 with mini clearfiles 3 piece sets. Both will run until quantities last. The illustrations on the stationery feature all 10 senshi with brand new Sailor Moon Crystal art.
In order to take advantage of this campaign, you have to buy either 4 Kirin beverages (330mL～555mL), or 4 Meiji confectionery items, or 4 Lotte confectionery items. The notebook/clearfiles design you get corresponds to whichever brand you purchase.

Oh no! Not a fan of the new artwork. Their eyes are googly and much more cartoonish and their mouths are like flat frog line mouths. The artwork for the first two seasons was spot on, the girls had much more delicate features, even though it never really got translated to the actual episodes… Maybe they’re just trying to set the bar really low so the animation doesn’t need to be high quality? These “official images” are a mess…. There just seems to be no hope for SMC…

I still have high hopes. I don’t think this artwork is representative of what we can expect. There were a lot of complaints about the artwork for season 1. They have a new artist on board for “phase 3” and I doubt that is for any other reason than to improve the art. This however like you already said is sloppy so it can’t be it! The promo poster however is gorgeous so … my expectations are still high. ^^

I don’t think these are a good representation of what the third season will look like. The art here is vastly inferior to that on the recently released promo poster for “phase 3”, which I find to be stunning! These… less so.

All the models looks very pretty, and the new character design looks cuter, but Chibi Moon is so slim and small, she is kinda strange… and i am not so sure about Saturn’s design, she looks as if Levi from Attack On Titan was making cosplay
