Sailor Moon Transformation Pens & Crystal Light Mascots

Bandai revealed two new gashapon sets, one for Sailor Moon and one for Sailor Moon Crystal. The Sailor Moon set includes her Disguise Pen and Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter & Venus’ transformation pens in chibi form. These mascot charms will have shiny gold paint, you can hook them anywhere as keychains or bag charms. The disguise pen measures around 5.6cm and the 4 transformation pens measure around 6cm. The retail price is 300 yen each. These are scheduled for release in August 2015.

The Sailor Moon Crystal set is called Crystal Light Mascot, there are only 4 toys in this set. The lineup includes Sailor Moon’s transformation brooch, disguise pen, silver crystal and the Moon Stick. When you press a button they will light up! They measure between 5.2cm to 6.2cm. The retail price is 400 yen each. These are also scheduled for release in August 2015. Stay tuned for preorder links!

I actually recently got the Silver Crystal one and am pretty disappointed in it. It’s very large and clunky and cheap looking. The light is super bright and pretty in the dark, but the “crystal” itself is just plain white plastic and the base is a slightly shimmery grey color. A noticeable amount of paint from the grey also got on the white of the crystal as well and is quite visible when you turn the light on. It’s cute but I do not think I would buy it again given the choice.

the light up charms make me think of the miracle lights used to cheer on the precure in the tie in films for each season, which is making me wish that bandai would release gachapon of miracle light replicas (and the dress up key from this year’s all stars film)

They would release that princess serenity for 3500 but a crown is like 200 dollar worth i wonder why they not released it lol for 100 dollar i would buy it
