Sailor Moon Crisis Moon Compact Moonlight Memory
Premium Bandai is releasing its seventh item in the Sailor Moon Moonlight Memory Series..the Crisis Moon Compact! Sailor Moon’s SuperS compact is a large heart shape with wings on the side. The gold is a shiny metallic paint while the clear pink parts reveal a holographic print. When you open the lid it looks just like the 90s toy with the pink colour silver crystal and holographic ribbons and stars. Since this is a mirror case, it further opens up to reveal two small compartments. The Moonlight Memory Series is made to replicate the old 90s toys and bring back feelings of nostalgia. This does not play music or light up. The Crisis Moon Compact measures 15.3cm wide, 11.2cm tall, 4.7cm deep. It is made of plastic.
The retail price is 4,990 yen and it’s scheduled for release in January 2016. You can preorder it on Premium Bandai using a deputy service.

I love these and I’m collecting both versions. This moonlight series is actually usable. I’m going to use these on vacations to put my vitamins in or earbuds, or jewelry. I’ll leave the proplicas for display. Common who doesn’t wish they could use their awesome toys! 😉 I love the gems on these too and I think this compact in particular is the prettiest. I’m tired of collecting beautiful things and not even using them ever. I take really good care of all my things too do in not worried about breaking anything and I actually bought two of these just in case since the wings do stick out. One for use and one for display.

I was so excited then I realized it doesn’t even have any of the electronic components or parts that made me want the original so much. I will wait for a Proplica. My money is better spent on the CCS sealing wand.

It’s very nice but I think I will wait for the Proplica version. I already resigned from having this kind of items… Sailor Moon items are extremely expensive so I reduce my collection to all those items that worth it . I’m collecting Figuarts, Proplicas and now I’m waiting for my 4th Pullip doll…

I have mixed feelings – I’m glad that the Moonlight Memory series is not dead and I am still hoping for a more manga-accurate Cutie Moon Rod to add to my collection, but it is sort of disappointing to see more of these awesome mirrors that I can’t afford (or rather I refuse to buy at more than 50€ per piece – c’mon, it is a plastic replica of a toy!).

I’m pretty sure the 90’s cutie moon rod was almost identical to the manga moon rod without meaning to be… they’re both pretty chunky and short and “cartoony”, yeah?

Exactly! Teehee! Since the Moonlight Memory Moon Stick is so cute (in a toy-like way) and also of the right size to me, I’d love to see their version of the Cutie Moon Rod. I’d expect it to be pink instead of red, and short, and with golden buttons :3

Es que me pedí la colección completa de Moonlight Memory de Sailor Moon a la tienda Norma Comics de Barcelona , y todavía no me lo han traido y se van acumulando los broches y varitas mágicas sí muy bien es precioso pero ¿Y EL BROCHE ÚLTIMO DE LA MOON ETERNAL ARTICLE PARA CUANDO ,EN 2016 POR EL 25 ANIVERSARIO VA BIEN O QUÉ ?Ayer puse mis cetros y broches y demás en la mesa, gran parte de los más nuevos y ocupan un gran espacio , son todos muy bonitos.Muchas gracias y hasta pronto!!!

La serie Moonlight Memory es de Premium Bandai, así que técnicamente sólo se vende en Japón. Como en cualquier otro sitio necesitas un intermediario, acaban siendo más caras todavía. Yo sólo tengo un par y las conseguí con la Freak Fantasy Shop; son muy chulas en general, pero me parece un pastizal para lo que son.
Y es cierto que no está saliendo casi merchan de la última temporada, pero parecen avanzar por las temporadas gradualmente, ya llegarán, no desesperes 🙂

Is it just me or does that pink for the bottom compartment really throwing anyone else off. It look pretty dark in my opinion :/ I think a white backing at least on the interior would’ve looked better. Or thinner plastic

Same opinion as others, It’s pretty but you know theres going to be a proplica one that will be better value for your money and look better quality. I did buy the MM chalice (the metal base kinda made that worth it) but now will get the proplica one too. Don’t want too many double ups!

I wish they made it thinner since they didn’t put lights in it. Who cares about a microscopic compartment, I mean, does it have to look like the 90s toys when they could design it better, it’s 2015 ppl. I think they are lazy and want quick cash. It’s still very beautiful to look at though, but will probably wait for proplica if I end up buying one. I hope they make more compact version of the eternal moon one next ;;
